Research into music videos

We have been lloking at various different types of videos and these are the ones which we decided to research.



This video is both concept and narrative based which is a similiar effect which we want to achieve in our video. This video changes in various ways to the beat of the song, for example when the first "drop" of the song occurs the male character is attacked and when the male and female characters are resting the music calms down.



Let You Go by Chase and Status is a widely known song mainly being in the UK. This video depicts a story line of a famous T.V presenter who has different side to him compared to the one that most people see on T.V. Once the music drops we see the true side of the character and unlike the video above, the lyrics match the mise en scene and also tell the story.



Skrillex is rapidly becoming possibly the biggest artist in dubstep in modern day music. This video can have a slightly disturbing video but I feel that at the end of the video the audience are cheering on the video fro what it stands for, which is against phedophiles. However, this song does take over 1 minute to get to the main part of the song and this may cause the audience to loose interest fairly quickly.



Although this song has 1 or 2 lyrics, as we know by the song, the song is virtually just a whole load of heavy bass going throughout the song
